Export Import Compliance SpecialistThe Export Import Compliance Specialist is responsible for processing import and export shipments ensuring compliance with CBP, ITAR, and EAR regulations. This is an in-office position based near Mountain Top, PA.ExpectationsComply with company wide Export Compliance Manual and Code of ConductReview inbound & outbound shipments for accuracy and regulatory complianceDetermine product ECCN/HTS classifications and identify export license requirementsSupport preparation and submission of export license applicationsMaintain trade records for import and export transactions under ITAR, EAR, and CBP requirementsCollaborate with senior trade team to resolve complex trade compliance issuesConduct internal verifications of trade compliance transactional recordsCoordinate with logistics, legal, and finance to ensure smooth and compliant supply chainAdvise management on trade compliance aspects and risks of proposed business decisionsSupport preparation reports and audit related to trade activitiesManage duty drawback and remediation programsEssentialsAssociate's degree or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience in Trade ComplianceIn depth understanding of import and export regulations, ITAR, EAR and CBPExperience managing export licenses and reviewing export documentation for accuracyFamiliarity with CBP regulations and the ACE system for import operationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
