About the role

Lab Support Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Support Specialist to provide operational and technical support in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will assist with sample handling, equipment maintenance, inventory management, documentation, and compliance with laboratory procedures while ensuring efficient day-to-day lab operations.
Key Responsibilities: Support daily laboratory operations by preparing workstations, equipment, and materials. Receive, label, log, and organize laboratory samples accurately. Assist scientists and laboratory staff with sample preparation and testing activities. Maintain laboratory equipment by performing routine cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance. Monitor laboratory inventory and order consumables and supplies as needed. Prepare reagents, buffers, and laboratory solutions following SOPs. Ensure laboratory work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and electronic databases. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company SOPs. Dispose of laboratory waste according to environmental and safety guidelines. Assist in equipment qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities. Support laboratory audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of laboratory activities.
