The C4N Systems Engineer will be the subject matter expert for the engineering command of the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base. This position is critical to the success of FWG’s partnership with the U.S. Navy. This position will manage all command, control, communications, computers, radar, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage all control, communications, computers, navigation, radar, GPS, antennas, networks and displays
Be the engineering subject matter expert for the department
Support C4N integration, troubleshooting, repair planning, testing and cyber related documentation
Ensure technician reach back, if required
Develop and maintain professional, results-oriented relationships that strengthen FWG’s reputation and support positive outcomes through documented communication, timely response, and issue resolution
Anticipate customer concerns and engage early to mitigate risk, resolve performance issues, and uphold FWG’s record of quality and reliability
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team
Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, IT/Networking or other related field
Licenses & Certifications:
Active Secret Security Clearance
DODM 8140.03 required
Security + preferred
Experience:
Ten plus (10+) years of experience in similar subject matter expert role
Extensive knowledge and in C4N training
C4N Training required
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
High level problem-solving and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Project management principles and practices
Ability to work with various levels of personnel including senior leadership
Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Other:
Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
Some travel, as required by operational needs
