Job Description: JOB IS LOCATED ON SITE IN KY. GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG. PROVIDED.State-of-the-art large format digital print provider in KY is searching to hire an experienced Digital Printing Manager due to department expansion.
Responsibilities include: Lead, direct, and mentor the large format digital printing department team. Play a key role in the expansion and development of the department and team members. Establish and manage workflows and processes from inception to completion using ERP system. Develop high performance teams, focusing on cross training. Implement and monitor continuous improvement methods across production operations. Hire, train and evaluate department employees. Work closely with outside vendors as needed. Order and manage inventory for substrates, inks, and other consumables. Communicate lead times, schedule changes and quality expectations to internal production managers, sales, and outside vendors. Prepare operational forecasts and performance reports for senior management. Ensure a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications include: Minimum 5 - 7 years' management experience in the large format digital printing industry. Stellar leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of developing high performing manufacturing teams. Strong process control and process improvement skills. Solid technical knowledge of large format digital printing and finishing operations. Experience printing on vinyl substrates a plus. Excellent communication skills. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Associates or Bachelor's degree in printing, graphic arts, and/or communication preferred.
