Key Qualifications:
  • Active teaching certification with ESL endorsement, or eligibility to obtain itPrevious experience working with elementary-age English language learners
  • Strong understanding of language acquisition strategies and inclusive classroom practices
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning styles and language proficiencies
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons targeting English language development
  • Assess student progress and tailor support to meet individual learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate language goals across subjects
  • Communicate regularly with families to support student learning at home and school
  • Document student achievements and maintain accurate records
