LENDING & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTSnelling is seeking an experienced Lending & Executive Assistant for a well-established, locally focused financial institution in Lubbock. They are looking for someone who will fit naturally into a close-knit organization while bringing a high level of professionalism, communication, accuracy, and follow-through to a critical support role. The Lending & Executive Assistant will work closely with bank executives and lending officers, providing both executive-level administrative support and hands-on lending support. This person will help keep loan documentation, customer communication, reporting, scheduling, and lending activity moving efficiently from initial request through closing and servicing. Previous banking, lending, loan administration, executive support, or financial services experience is strongly preferred. Professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include providing high-level administrative and executive support to bank leadership and lending officers, managing calendars, meetings, correspondence, reports, presentations, and follow-up, assisting with commercial, consumer, and real estate loan documentation and loan files, gathering and organizing financial statements, tax returns, credit information, collateral documentation, and other required lending materials, preparing and maintaining loan packages throughout underwriting, approval, closing, and funding, monitoring loan pipelines, outstanding documentation, approvals, conditions, renewals, maturities, and deadlines, coordinating with customers, lenders, loan operations, credit administration, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, and other outside partners, reviewing loan files for accuracy and completeness and proactively following up on missing information, assisting with loan renewals, modifications, payoffs, and servicing activities, preparing lending pipeline reports, portfolio reports, activity summaries, and other management reporting, serving as a polished, responsive point of contact for customers and business partners, maintaining strict confidentiality when handling sensitive customer, financial, and bank information, supporting lending compliance, internal controls, audits, examinations, and documentation requests, anticipating needs, managing competing priorities, and ensuring important details and deadlines do not fall through the cracks.
Qualifications include: 2+ years of banking, lending, loan administration, executive support, or financial services experience preferred, previous experience supporting lending functions and working with loan documentation strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, professional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management abilities, ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential matters with discretion, strong follow-through and the ability to work proactively with minimal oversight, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, comfortable working in a smaller, collaborative environment where teamwork, flexibility, and personal accountability matter.
