About the role
- Load and unload parts and supplies from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of items
- Verify the accuracy of orders and invoices before delivery, addressing any discrepancies with the appropriate personnel
- Collect payments for delivered parts as needed, maintaining accurate records of transactions
- Communicate effectively with the parts department and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and efficient workflow
- Ability to maintain and build lasting relationships with multiple shops.
- Maintain a clean driving record and report any accidents, violations, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
- Other duties assigned
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Must be comfortable with a wide variety of vehicles from vans to 15' box trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying orders and invoices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime hours as needed
- Knowledge of automotive parts and components is a plus
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
