Minutemen Staffing is hiring a Slitter Helper to support steel slitting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Summary: The Slitter Helper will assist with coil handling, equipment setup, and quality checks while following all safety and production standards under the Horizon Steel Quality System.
Responsibilities: Follow all safety rules (hard hat, safety glasses required)Identify steel grades and inspect for defects during recoiling Assemble separator arms and remove coils from recoiler Apply OD bands and document coil information (cut #, dimensions, heat #)Maintain a clean work area and report quality concerns immediately
