Reliability Manager
Position Summary:
Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Reliability Manager to lead plant reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume production environment. This role will be responsible for equipment reliability, maintenance strategy, capital project execution, and development of a high-performing maintenance team. The successful candidate will drive improvements in uptime, asset performance, preventative maintenance programs, and overall operational efficiency while supporting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Reliability & Asset Performance:
Lead plant reliability initiatives focused on maximizing equipment uptime and reducing unplanned downtime.
Implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Utilize reliability metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop long-term solutions to recurring equipment and process issues.
Maintenance Leadership:
Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance personnel.
Establish maintenance priorities, work schedules, and resource allocation plans.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support workforce development through training and performance management.
Capital Projects & Engineering:
Manage capital improvement projects from concept through implementation.
Coordinate project activities to minimize disruption to plant operations.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Support facility, equipment, and process improvements that increase productivity and operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:
Develop and monitor KPIs related to equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.
Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions.
Drive TPM, reliability-centered maintenance, and lean improvement initiatives.
Partner with operations, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to improve overall plant performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.8+ years of manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, or engineering experience.
Previous leadership experience supervising maintenance, engineering, or technical teams.
Strong knowledge of PM/PdM programs, CMMS systems, TPM, and reliability best practices.
Experience with industrial mechanical, electrical, automation, PLC, and instrumentation systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
