Position: The Upfit Technician is responsible for the consistent and quality upfit installations of truck accessories and service repairs on various truck bodies.
Responsibilities: Complete consistent and quality installs of truck accessories. Including but not limited to lift gates, shelving units, toolboxes, body components and lighting systems. Complete custom service repairs on commercial vehicles and flatbeds. Service repairs on truck bodies. Document the cause and corrections for all repairs. Fabricating custom mounting brackets. Read and follow detailed work orders, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.
Qualifications: GED/High School Diploma or Experience. Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge. Ability to use Crane and hoists. Ability to use power tools and machinery. Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).Welding, Hydraulic and Electrical Experience (Preferred).
