- Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures and unit doses, under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and managing supplies
- Assist with medication reconciliation and patient profile management
- Compound medications according to established protocols
- Perform quality control checks on prepared medications and equipment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Respond to pharmacy-related inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience
- High school diploma or GEDSuccessful completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent work experiencePTCB Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
- State licensure or registration as a Pharmacy Technician
