Crane OperatorLocation: Greensburg, PA
Rate: $21.00-$27.50/hr + OvertimeResponsibilities:
Operate and control the movement of cranes to lift, position, and place materials and equipmentOperate electric overhead traveling craneTransport ingots to cooling pits or furnacesPerform pre-operational checks and inspections on the crane to ensure it is in safe working conditionSafely rig loads and attach them to the crane using appropriate lifting devicesFollow all safety procedures and protocols while operating the craneCommunicate with ground crew and other personnel to ensure safe and efficient operationsMaintain accurate records of crane operations, including daily logs and inspection reportsQualifications: Valid crane operator certification/licenseProven experience operating cranes in a variety of settingsStrong knowledge of rigging techniques and safe lifting practicesAbility to read and interpret load charts and blueprintsExcellent hand-eye coordination and depth perceptionStrong attention to detail and focus on safetyAbility to work independently or as part of a teamSkills: Backhoe operationForklift operationCommercial driving experienceShipping receiving experienceWarehouse operations knowledgeBoom truck operationDigging experience with heavy equipmentRigging experience
