Part Time Or Prn Physical Therapist Assistant The Weston Group is dedicated to providing evidence-based, person-centered therapeutic services to residents. We're looking for a Part Time Or Prn Physical Therapist Assistant to act as the patient's partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. As a result, you will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and will be trained with preferred home health provider onsite and provide treatment for both outpatient and home health patients in the facility. In addition, will lead exercise classes and other health talks as appropriate in the facility. Productivity expectation will be 85-90% dependent upon job duties.

Communicates and documents significant changes in patient progress as a result of treatment and accepts modified treatment plan if needed. Attends patient related meetings in accordance with facility policy. Demonstrate knowledge of insurance guidelines as related to applicable rehabilitation services. Perform all other duties and functions necessary for the maintenance of efficient, economic and quality operation of the department. Projects and maintains a professional appearance. Makes suggestions for department improvement and assists in development of these as leadership qualities utilizing support personnel where appropriate to perform activities not requiring a licensed Physical Therapist. Physical Therapist Assistants must possess an appropriate Associate of Science degree from an accredited institution. Licensure Or Registry Requirements Physical Therapist Assistants must be licensed in the state practicing by the Board of Physical Therapy and provide an acceptable Criminal Background Check.
