Role Description: The Project Manager position is primarily field-based, with most work performed at customer construction sites. Project locations may be anywhere within the United States, with periodic travel to the Cincinnati headquarters. This role oversees industrial construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, internal teams; managing project schedules and resources; supervising field activities; and monitoring safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The Project Manager prepares and reviews project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and inspection records, and supports cost control and forecasting. This position also involves resolving project issues, supporting expediting and logistics needs, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications: Strong project management skills, including Project Management and experience leading industrial construction projects from initiation through closeout. Expediting-related skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting, to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services. Inspection experience, including conducting and documenting Inspection activities to maintain quality and compliance with codes and standards. Logistics Management capabilities to coordinate material handling, shipping, and on-site installation in an industrial construction environment. Knowledge of industrial and mechanical construction practices, including piping, structural steel, equipment setting, and related trades. Demonstrated commitment to safety, with familiarity with OSHA standards and industrial safety programs. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with field teams and clients. Proficiency with project management software and basic office applications for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical contracting environments is highly beneficial.
