Aluminum/Steel Welder Location: Chester, PA Salary/Rate: $18-24 Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials Perform welding and fitting tasks using various methods such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate and assemble metal components Measure and inspect completed workpieces using precision instruments such as micrometers Ensure the quality and accuracy of welds by conducting visual inspections and performing necessary repairs or modifications Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work orders Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: Proven experience as a welder/fitter or similar role Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including FCAW and stick welding Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Ability to solder, weld, and fabricate sheet metal components Experience working with ductwork is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
