Embark on your next professional chapter as a skilled Echo Technologist with a contract position in a reputable healthcare facility. This role focuses on providing exceptional echocardiographic imaging services to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients under the direction of cardiologists and other medical staff.
Responsibilities include:
Performing high-quality echocardiography exams, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color flow studies
Operating and maintaining ultrasound imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
Preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes, and ensuring their comfort and safety
Collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely results
Documenting findings and maintaining accurate records in patient files and facility systems
Adhering to infection prevention, safety, and privacy standards throughout each procedure
Preferred qualifications:
Previous experience as an Echo Technologist in a clinical setting
Certification or credentialing in echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
Proficient in all aspects of echocardiographic imaging and patient care
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving schedules or clinical needs
Current BLS certification required
