Prime Healthcare - St. Francis Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Medication Access/Referral Coordinator to join our Ambulatory Pharmacy team in Evanston, IL!š„ Facility: St. Francis Hospitalš Location: Evanston, IL 60201ā° Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMIn this role, you'll be instrumental in helping patients gain access to essential medications and specialty services by partnering with providers, pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients to navigate prior authorizations, referrals, financial assistance programs, and medication access barriers.
What We're Looking For:
ā
Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License in good standingā
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credentialā
3+ years of experience in ambulatory care, specialty pharmacy, or 340B environmentsā
Experience with specialty pharmacy and insurance authorization processesā
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plansā
