About the role

Project ManagerThe Project Manager oversees every detail of estimating costs and resources required to bid on and win residential and commercial construction contracts and provides the necessary support throughout the project life cycle to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. The Project Manager is also responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with each of Elite Pipeline's customers to understand their preferences and requirements, enabling successful scoping, pricing, winning, and delivering profitable work.In addition to scoping, pricing, and bidding projects, the Project Manager is expected to be the main point of contact for all matters related to a project once a project is awarded, both internally and externally. The Project Manager tracks progress, prepares WIP billings, and addresses customer inquiries about progress and billing. Through close coordination with the production team and customers, the Estimator/Project Manager is critical to the successful execution of Rino's Woodworking Shop's quality furniture and service projects.Reporting Relationships:The PM reports to the General ManagerThe PM partners with the Production Team to ensure a successful kick-off and hand-off of each of the projectsJob ResponsibilitiesAchieve Monthly / Annual Revenue target:Lead Generation. Research and target new customers.Create estimates and quotes from estimates. Update and maintain prospect contact information and status of customer relationships: calls, drawings and project documents received, bids submitted and status, of estimates.Build project schedule and assignment.Execute project objectives:Finished according to the customer's expectations,On timeUsing the right resources (labor man-hours allocated, materials required, and other Logistics: i.e, Travel, equipment rentals, shipping, freight, etc.Inspect completed projects before handoff to customers.To final walkthrough with the customer's key stakeholders before signing off.Submit final sign-off documents and invoices to customers.Maintain relations and communication with clients; i.e: conference calls, scheduled pre-planning and planning meetings (Salem is bi-weekly leading up to outages).Update and maintain project schedules, calendar, and timelines.Maintain skilled, motivated, and talented team:Maintain Bench Plan: having adequate staffing to satisfy the service requirements' needs to achieve the sales target.Recruit, select, interview, hire, onboard, train, certify, assign, evaluate, develop, appraise and manage the nuclear staff to the company's expectations and values as outlined in the Employee Guidelines.Ensure safety equipment is in good working condition, and the maintenance schedule is executed.Conduct Weekly /Monthly safety schedule training and maintain records and schedule of team training status.Update/ create site specific HASP, JSA, Confined space, and other documents needed for each project.Ensure skill training matrix is updated, and skill training is being assigned and conducted per standardEnsure employee development, performance tracking, and evaluation are completed accurately and on time.Ensure portals are up to date (Avetta, ISN)Collaborate and assist in the development of new or modified technologies, Mockups, and unique applications of products.Achieve Gross Profit Goals:Track and execute labor hours allocations vs. estimate to achieve 100% labor efficiency.Review and approve weekly task and assignment schedules to maximize productivity.Track, review, and manage expectations and action plans to improve labor performance.Strategic Planning:Collaborate with the President and General Manager in forecasting targets:Sales and revenueProjects schedulesStaffing NeedsEquipment and other resource needs to achieve sales targets.Gross Margins Goals.Build Quarterly Operations Action Plans to achieve goals: Who, Does What, When and Why ?Build and track sales and business development activitiesTeam Staffing and Development plans: develop and nurture the building of a team that is motivated, skilled, and accountable.Competencies RequiredExceptional technical knowledge of Pipeline Services, including knowledge in: NACE Coating Level 1 and 2, CCTV Inspections, CIPP and UV liners. Read Piping Drawings.Exceptional ability to read and critically interpret construction documents (including drawings) to understand project requirements, to proactively identify potential issues/risks, and to recommend mitigating strategies.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage project schedules and budgets.Strong leadership and team management skills.Strong sense of urgency in completing project tasks and escalating issues (and potential issues).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).Required Licenses, Certificates, and EducationBachelor's degree in business administration/science (MBA, VI Sigma, PM- Preferred)Experience in: NACE Coating Level 1 and 2, CCTV Inspections, CIPP and UV liners. Read Piping Drawings.Travel up to 75% of the time.Valid driver's license.Will undergo a security/criminal background check and drug testing.5+ years in leading multiple projects and remote teams, with a team of 2-5 individuals per team, with at least two years as a Project Manager.Performance MeasurementsManaged revenues.Project margin preservation.Team Development.Project timeline adherence.Quality and completeness of documentation.Working ConditionsThe Project Manager will spend most his/her time working in an office environment. Must be able to operate a computer and work both in an office environment (20-40% ) and remotely (60-80%). Frequent visits to job sites to attend pre-bid meetings is also required, where any weather conditions may be encountered. While visiting job sites, the Project Manager must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).$90,000 - $115,000 a year Performance-based bonus Health, Dental, Vision benefits 401k with match PTO / Holidays
