Director Of Business Development - Assisted LivingPharMerica, a part of Brightspring Health Services, is a long-term care pharmacy services provider that supplies medications, clinical support, and pharmacy management to healthcare organizations across the United States.The Director of Business Development - Assisted Living role leads business development efforts for PharMerica Senior Living by driving customer acquisition strategies in the Assisted Living market and advancing growth within this segment. Working under the Associate Vice President, the position partners with cross-functional teams to roll-out growth initiatives, execute sales plans, and support the organization's broader revenue objectives.The strongest candidates bring B2B sales experience along with a background in Senior Living or Long-Term Care. Deep industry insight, proven sales strategy skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with executive-level leaders are essential.This is a remote position with 65% travel. Apply today!ResponsibilitiesWorks collaboratively with the Business Development Associate and Associate Vice Presidents to identify and target net new customers and grow existing books of businessProvides guidance, training, and support to the Business Development Associate, fostering a cohesive approach to maximize sales strategies and growth initiativesCollaborates cross-functionally to implement growth initiatives and ensure seamless new business implementation aligned with client management plans within Assisted Living chainsMaintains and updates CRM databases with Assisted Living chain profiling information, competitive data, and strategic planning details for these clientsActs as a liaison between the inside sales team and regional client managers, facilitating smooth transitions and start-ups for new Assisted Living chain clientsDrives continuous improvement by reviewing client feedback, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategies for consistent business development within the Senior Living sectorWorks with industry data sets to identify profitable assisted living chain targetsAssists with other projects as assigned by DVPQualificationsBachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in a direct B2B sales positionAt least 2 years of experience managing pipeline forecasting or account management in the senior living or LTC spaceAt least 2 years of experience in cross functional/collaborative team environmentExperience in LTC B2B sales, new sales pipeline management, upselling/same store growth, client management, and retentionDemonstrates success with meeting financial/revenue goals and objectivesExperience with LTC service offerings and competitive landscape of the LTC pharmacy spaceExperience planning organizing, developing, implementing, collaborating on, and executing marketing and sales campaignsExperience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, CRM proficiency, sales acumen, and a track record of successful client managementStrong presentation skillsBasic level skill in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Performs other tasks as assignedConducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standardsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyThe requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requiredEach essential function is required, although reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
