Account Executive – WestAbout our client Our client are a fast-growing, boutique professional services consulting firm specializing in Data, AI and technology solutions. With a current sales team of 15, they’re on a mission to expand to 50 over the next five years, targeting 33% annual growth.
The Opportunity:
They’re seeking an ambitious Account Executive to join their dynamic sales team. This is a high-impact, remote role with flexible location options across the West coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of assigned territory and accounts
- Drive new business development—focus on net new client acquisition
- Build and grow a personal book of business, aiming for 10–20 strategic accounts
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients; accounts remain yours as long as they are active
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored data and technology solutions
- Leverage vendor partnerships (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Anthropic & Alteryx) to maximize client value
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in software and/or services sales (both preferred)
- Proven track record of new business (“hunter” profile) rather than account management (“farmer”)Experience with data/analytics, automation, or technology consulting is a plus
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Compensation & Commission$100-110K base salary
- Highly incentivized commission plan, earning 10% of any revenue billed past $3MQuotas & Performance
- Annual quota: $2M (first-year realistic target: $1M–$1.5M)KPIs: Quota attainment, new business generation, account growth
