Billing Clerk - Full TimeSalary Range $24.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionAbout the role:We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to manage our direct and subcontractor Invoicing. In this role, you will be expected to utilize provided tools and systems for consistent and accurate data entry from a variety of different databases in order to compile timecard and expense information for the billing of our Clients.If you enjoy working with numbers, organizing large datasets, and learn to technology to make manual tasks faster and more accurate, we want to hear from you.In this role, your responsibilities will be:Process, review, and audit, a high-volume of Time & Expense records and subcontractor bills to ensure accurate and timely client billing.Compare employee timecards and subcontractor bills against customer contracts and rates to ensure accuracy before invoicing.Reference Client-specific billing expectations and ensure all invoiced records meet those specifications.Utilize AI tools to analyze billing files, flag irregularities, and shorten review cycles while maintaining strict billing precision protocols.Enter, track, and manage billing records across Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.Serve as the point of contact to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams, vendors, and clients.QualificationsAs a candidate, you must have:Familiarity with moderate Excel skills and formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF logic formulas, etc.Strong analytical skills, ability to delineate complex and voluminous data, and be able to understand and solve issues that may arise.Able to take ownership of tasks and initiate processes independently/consistently throughout their workweek.Experience using Salesforce and standard database software across PC and iOS environments.Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
