Project Manager Land Development RochesterStep into a land development role built around you, with one of the most reputable engineering firms in Upstate New York. The firm are looking for the right person first and shape the work around them, so you'd have a real say in the clients, sites and team you build. You'd independently run projects from start to finish, with a team of junior engineers under you. You'd have a multi-discipline team and a footprint across the region behind your projects. There's also a flexible work schedule, year-end incentive pay and a leadership development program for when you're ready for the next step.
What you'll do:
  • Manage land development projects from conceptual design through construction documents
  • Oversee site plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention PlansOwn client relationships, meetings and public presentations
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFPsCoordinate with architects and MEP engineers
  • Manage budgets, invoicing and agency approvals
  • Mentor and delegate to junior staff
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering 8+ years in a professional consulting environment
  • Strong land development design: site, grading, utility plans, construction details and conceptual layouts
  • Stormwater design, including SWPPPs, and experience getting agency approvals
  • Project management experience, including budgets and delegation
  • Confident working with clients, agencies and teams in other disciplines and locationsPE encouraged. AutoCAD, HydroCAD and construction administration experience preferred
