DescriptionWHAT SLPA'S DO:Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Work individually and in small groups with middle/high school students to support communication goals identified in their IEPs. Support students with expressive/receptive language, social communication, fluency, and functional communication needs. Assist with AAC and other communication supports and strategies. Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services. Prepare therapy materials, visuals, and activities. Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, EAs, families, and other members of the student's educational team. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and student-centered school environment.

Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks Ability to work collaboratively and accept direction and feedback from the supervising SLPExperience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and or middle or high school age.
