About the Role:
The Company is in search of up to six passionate individuals aged 18-24 to join its Board's Youth Steering Committee. This volunteer role is pivotal in the lead-up to a National Young Preservation Summit, where the focus will be on brainstorming, planning, and implementing creative programming ideas for local outreach. Committee members will also have the opportunity to share these innovative approaches with other summit attendees. The ideal candidates for this position are those who are dedicated to the engagement of young people in historic preservation and are willing to contribute their time and energy to this important work. In addition to the summit-related activities, the committee members may be invited to assist with the company's events and are also needed as presenters for an educational program designed to teach grade school children about preservation. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
