About the role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable Spanish Translator to support inclusive and engaging community events at Coronado Springs. This role plays a key part in ensuring all participants feel welcomed, informed, and able to fully participate, regardless of language barriers. The Spanish Translator will provide real-time interpretation and assist with light written translation of event materials when needed. Responsibilities include supporting event staff and attendees with clear communication, answering questions, and helping facilitate conversations between Spanish-speaking community members and English-speaking staff or volunteers. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with children and families in a dynamic, community-centered environment. Events may include youth-focused classes and activities such as Art Expression, Sensory Sprouts, and Tiny Brain Builders, where clear communication and a warm, engaging presence are essential. Ideal candidates are fluent in both Spanish and English, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate cultural awareness and a passion for community engagement. A background check is required for this role. This is a meaningful opportunity to help create equitable access and ensure all families feel connected and supported at Coronado Springs events.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
