About the role
Our client a beautiful 5-star regional hotel brand in the Caribbean Islands with their Headquarters based in the United States is searching for a highly talented CHEF DE CUISINE for their newly built Italian restaurant. The successful candidate should have experience in regional, authentic Italian cuisine, with a certain touch of innovation and creativity. CARIBBEAN - CHEF DE CUISINE– NEW ITALIAN RESTAURANTThey should have a solid background working in a hotel or upscale free-standing restaurant serving Italian cuisine for at least 5-6 years. Just as important they should be passionate, talented, and able to lead and motivate the kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should be very hands-on, with a creative approach. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills are necessary, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and strict attention to detail. With your outstanding team building and leadership skills, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Italian restaurant, including training, scheduling, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. Island experience an asset but not essential Restaurant will be open for dinner only Restaurant opening experience required Starting date anytime
