About the role

Supporting XBAT prototype ground and flight testing, the full-time Quality Assurance Engineering Technician will perform inspections, verify hardware quality, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with defined requirements in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities: Perform in-process, final, pre-test, and post-test inspections of XBAT prototype hardware Inspect mechanical, electrical, structural, and electromechanical assemblies using appropriate measurement equipment Identify and document nonconformances while supporting root-cause investigations and corrective actions Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, aviation, or a related technical field Experience supporting prototype development or flight testing Hands-on inspection, testing, or troubleshooting experience with complex aerospace hardware Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
