Road Crew Member / LaborerPay:$45/day per diemWork Rate$22.00 Per Hour Non-Work Rate: $16.00 Per Hour (time spent on the job not performing work such as standby, passenger, etc.) Driver: $17.00 Per Hour Travel: Extensive travel required, including being away from home for 2-3 weeks at a timeJob SummaryThe Crew Member/Laborer is responsible for covering and securing stockpiles using heavy-duty tarps, ropes, and sandbags. This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks while following safety procedures.
Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor Reliable and dependable Construction or general labor experience is a plus Key ResponsibilitiesCover and secure stockpiles with tarps, ropes, and sandbags Move and handle heavy materials Sew and repair tarps using portable sewing machines Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Maintain a clean work area and equipment Work effectively with the crew to complete projects
