Description:
/hr Agency bill rate: #####/hr. The primary function of this position is to support continuous improvement initiatives for CTN with an emphasis on 5S+ and Daily cleaning. The position will support operations, maintenance and management of the facility, paint lines and capital assets (equipment, machinery, building, etc.) as well. A provided daily checklist and area map will be followed for cleaning locations.
Essential Functions:
A. Follow daily checklist for areas within the plant that need cleaned (floors swept, mopped, windows cleaned, etc.) B. Secondary focus to paint floor lines and machinery or other capital assets. C. Verify correct floor labeling per Eaton CTN standard in areas D. Participate in twice monthly 5S+ blitzes with activities including cleaning workspaces and painting floors as well as capital assets (equipment, machinery, building, etc.), E. Look for opportunities for process improvement and safety related items. F. Safety responsibilities include safety and housekeeping objectives; follow all safety rules and procedures and report unsafe conditions to line management. G. Works with Visions Techs in the implementation of kaizen events and improvement ideas from VISIONs and projects.
