Your role and responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of AC motors, including end plates, rotors, windings, motor layouts, shaft/endplate prints, troubleshooting, and diagnosis. Ability to read SFDs, special instructions, TDRs, manufacturing instructions, diagrams, and indication gauges. Experience in Assembly/Finishing is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Shop Floor Display and Bus/SAP. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with Engineering regarding prototype notes and work with team members.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet minimum production requirements, and produce defect-free, quality work. Must understand and properly use required PPE, maintain a clean workstation, and follow safety and manufacturing procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive pulling, pushing, and twisting motions; move trays of assembled and unassembled motors weighing up to 90 lbs. across conveyor lines; and work with sealants, silicone, and greases. Must be able to use various hand and pneumatic tools, understand flex flow/day-and-rank systems, and assist in other areas as needed. Qualifications for the role:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
