Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a stable career in food manufacturing? We're seeking dependable Packaging Machine Operators to join our 3rd shift team. If you enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and producing quality products in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate automated packaging equipment for production runs. Adjust machines for different products, bag sizes, and production packaging film and ink tape while ensuring proper alignment. Perform hourly seal checks and verify product weights to maintain quality standards. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and communicate larger repairs to Maintenance Complete production documentation packaging quality, appearance, and code a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow GMPs, food safety standards, Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), and all company safety policies. Work closely with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Leadership.
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or packaging machine operation experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and documentation skills. Willingness to cross-train on multiple machines.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and team lifting for heavier items Stand, bend, walk, squat, reach, and climb ladders throughout the shift. Comfortable working around moving machinery and varying steel-toe shoes are required. Must be able to work the scheduled 3rd shift: 10:30 PM - 6:15 AM.
