About the role
Job Description:
Engauge Workforce Solutions is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This position safely moves materials, supplies production equipment, and prepares products for storage and shipment.
Work schedule: 7am-3:30pmResponsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely. Load and unload trucks; verify shipment counts and check for damage or shortages. Move and stage materials according to production schedules and instructions. Deliver materials to production areas and remove finished products. Use scanners and computer systems to track inventory and material movement. Prepare pallets for shipment using appropriate wrapping, straps, and protective materials. Complete equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Keep work areas clean and follow company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience preferred; experience with stand-up forklifts or electric pallet jacks is a plus.
Ability to read work instructions and accurately identify products and materials.
Basic math, computer, and scanner skills.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
Ability to perform the position’s physical duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work the assigned schedule and overtime as needed.
Successful completion of required forklift training and operator evaluation.
