About the role

Supporting program managers as a finance business partner, the full-time Senior Financial Operations Consultant will manage month-end closing processes, prepare financial statements for external audits, and conduct financial analysis in a remote capacity for candidates based in New England. Key responsibilities Manage the end-of-month closing process, ensuring accuracy and driving efficiencies Prepare financial statements and documentation for external audits while liaising with accounting firms Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis to support program budgets and business strategies Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred, or equivalent experience Strong cost accounting background with experience in preparing financial statements for audits Proven experience managing month-end close processes efficiently Solid understanding of ASC 606/revenue recognition and its financial implications
