Who You Are

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy. Licensure: Fully or associate-licensed in North Carolina (LCMHC/A, LCSW/A, LMFT/A).
Skills:
Grounded in evidence-based practice, with genuine empathy and human connection in session. You're organized, self-motivated, and love being part of a tight-knit team.
Compensation:
Let's Be Honest (W2 vs. 1099)You've probably seen postings promising $80,000–$90,000+ with no context. Often those are 1099 contract positions, where you pay roughly 15% in self-employment tax and get no benefits and no paid time off. We don't operate that way. You're an employee, and you deserve to be treated like one.
Base Salary:
$70,000–$78,000 (W2), plus commission. Commission: Our model is transparent, predictable, and fair. It scales with your caseload, so averaging more than 22 clients per week significantly increases your total earnings. Health Insurance: We don't currently offer health insurance. We know it matters. As a small practice, rising employer premiums force a choice between higher salary and lower salary with coverage, and we've chosen higher pay. We re-evaluate this regularly.
Benefits:
W2 Stability: No self-employment tax surprises. Paid Time Off: Six holidays and eleven personal days in your first year, increasing with tenure. Flex-Time Rewards: Hit your quarterly client goal and unlock: An increased commission rate of 50% of revenue. Earn one extra 1 hour of additional PTO for every 10 clients above your quarterly client goal. Greater calendar flexibility, including the ability to block time daily and weekly. Free Clinical Supervision: Weekly in-house supervision for associate-level clinicians (LCMHCA, LCSWA) until fully licensed. Hybrid Flexibility: A comfortable office, plus the option to see clients remotely from home based on their needs. Malpractice Insurance: Fully covered.
Continuing Education:
Annual CE stipend that increases with years of service. Retirement: 401(k) plan available (no company match).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Ready to Join Us? If you've made it this far and like what you see, we want to know who you are beyond the resume. Send us a message with a brief story, experience, or quality that reflects who you are and what you'd bring to our team.
