Job Description: Job Purpose & Summary: Position is responsible for receiving documents and keeps track of inventory and ensures all products, packages, etc. are received in good condition. Communicates with customers as required and works under the direction of the Receiving Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities: Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Records receiving by completing daily receiving logs, Daily inventory reports Ensure high quality product is received and credits are written for all unacceptable product received Meets Receiving operational standards by implementing productivity, quality, and resolving problems; identifying process improvements Responsible for monitoring and determining product quality Oversees Product status and condition to ensure company quality standards are met Implement new procedures and processes to streamline receiving and ensure quality Outbound Shipments via UPS/FedEx and other carriers Other duties as assigned
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with effective team building capabilities
  • Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises
