Crafting Assistant - Fall Fest
three rivers parkMinnetrista (MN)
About the role
Are you a crafter? Do you love nature? We need YOU to help us create a fun experience for folks of all ages at Fall Fest! Crafting Assistants will help participants as they flex their creativity muscles at a tie dye station or wet felting station. Fiber is a big part of Gale Woods Farm - the sheep raised here are shorn for their wool, which is then sold used in farm programming! This role is great for folks who are comfortable standing for the entire shift, interested in arts and crafts (knowledge of tie dye and felting is ideal, but not required), can easily talk with strangers, and can provide information in a family friendly atmosphere. Volunteers will be partnered with knowledgeable staff and other volunteers and will be provided with informational resources, breaks, and snacks. Come for one or both days. Don't LEAF us hanging! Sign up now! More information about the event itself can be found at www.threeriversparks.org/Fall Fest.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
