Quality Inspector IIReact Health is a fast-paced, growth-driven manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment, dedicated to supporting patients, caregivers, physicians, and healthcare providers. With a focus on respiratory and sleep health sectors, we offer a comprehensive range of products and services across acute care, non-acute care, and home medical equipment. By integrating manufacturing and distribution, React Health addresses the needs of both undiagnosed individuals and those requiring therapy after diagnosis, particularly within the sleep and respiratory care sectors. The Quality Inspector II will work directly with the Quality and Operations Teams to support the rapidly growing manufacturing at React Health. You will be responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet product requirements. Your day-to-day duties include but are not limited to measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, identifying defects, running quality tests, and performing other verification activities.
Qualifications: A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.3+ years of experience in Receiving Inspection, working with quality control systems and following good manufacturing practices. Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Strong ability to use measurement tools and fixtures such as height gauges, calipers, microscopes, gauge blocks, and optical computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent written/oral communication skills with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong and reliable work ethic with demonstrated attention to detail. General mechanical aptitude.
Preferred Education: Two-year technical degree is a plus.
Preferred Experience: Experience in a medical device environment. Experience programming and operating a CMM.Certification(s) related to GD&T, CMM operation/programming, or IPC Demands Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Employees typically sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives. Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.
