You'll remain hands-on with architecture, prototyping, implementation, and difficult technical problems while mentoring engineers and partnering closely with Product and Security Research. ResponsibilitiesOwn architecture and technical direction for AI attack-simulation technology Build scalable systems that translate adversarial AI techniques into production security capabilities Design agentic workflows, tool integrations, execution systems, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks Partner with Product Management and Security Research on strategy and roadmap development Develop AI-first engineering workflows across research, prototyping, implementation, testing, and release Remain hands-on with critical architecture and complex engineering challenges Lead technical reviews and establish engineering best practices Improve reliability, security, observability, and overall product quality Mentor engineers and help develop senior technical talent Help engineers take greater ownership of customer problems and product outcomes Qualifications10+ years of professional software engineering experience Significant technical leadership experience with complex production systems Strong backend and distributed systems engineering background Deep experience with cloud-native architectures Production experience building AI or agentic systems Experience with tool use, orchestration, state management, structured outputs, guardrails, and AI evaluation Cybersecurity product experience or background in areas such as: oOffensive security oAttack simulation oAI security oRed teaming oPenetration testing oSecurity/control validation Strong Go/Golang development experience Experience with another production language such as Python, Rust, Java, or TypeScript Strong product mindset and experience working directly with Product Management Ability to mentor engineers and lead through ambiguity Preferred ExperienceAI red teaming or adversarial machine learning Breach and attack simulation Adversary emulation or continuous security validation MITRE ATT&CK and/or ATLAS OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar agent orchestration technology AI evaluation datasets, graders, traces, and regression frameworks Secure sandbox development Enterprise, self-hosted, air-gapped, or regulated software environments Hiring and developing senior engineersInterested in hearing more?
