Clean up and refine screen recordings, including cursor removal and replacement, smoother cursor movement, timing adjustments, and removal of unwanted interface elements. Build and animate UI sequences from screen captures, Figma files, and supplied assets, using highlights, callouts, zooms, and transitions to clearly communicate product features. Develop visual concepts, style frames, and storyboards from creative briefs. Collaborate with editors, colorists, and VFX artists to integrate motion design into finished projects. Interpret feedback, solve creative and technical challenges, and maintain consistency across deliverables. Deliver organized project files and production-ready assets on schedule. Support internal projects between client assignments, including marketing content, creative development, and workflow improvements. Learn, evaluate, and adapt to emerging technologies, including AI-assisted tools where appropriate.
Qualifications: Substantial professional motion design experience in an agency, studio, post-production company, or established freelance practice. A senior-level portfolio demonstrating polished commercial work, strong design fundamentals, and ownership of projects from concept through completion. Demonstrated experience with software product demos, screen UI cleanup, and interface animation, supported by relevant work samples. Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with Figma and translating supplied UI designs into animation. Excellent command of timing, typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling. Strong attention to detail when working with interface layouts, small text, cursor movement, and brand guidelines. Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate proactively, and deliver client-ready work with minimal supervision. Willingness to contribute to internal projects and learn new tools and techniques. U.S.-based, with full-time availability during Pacific Time business hours for the duration of the contract. Cinema 4D or comparable 3D experience is a plus. This is a senior-level opportunity. Entry-level portfolios and coursework alone will not meet the experience requirements. To Apply Please share your resume, portfolio or reel, location, availability, and contract rate. Include relevant product demo or UI animation examples, briefly describe your contribution to each, and confirm your availability to work Pacific Time business hours.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
