Responsibilities: Ability to execute standard and executive meeting set-ups, including the beverage and food set-up, in-meeting refreshments and clean-up for external guests or special internal events, such as Board of Directors meetingsInterface with high-profile executives and external guests confidently and helpfullyEnsure the entire Conference Center area is held up to the highest appearance standards, including but not limited to: wiping down all glass doors, removal of light trash, constant communications with Receptionists and Day Matrons pertaining to relevant information regarding maintenance (i.e. artwork level, furniture stability & condition, floral arrangements, etc.)Check all conference rooms at the end of each meeting to ensure that the resources are always ready for usage, credenzas are cleared, cords/office supplies are neatly stored in their Corian trays in the credenza, chairs are straightened and tucked in to the tablesCommunicate and coordinate with IT for all technology setup requirements for meetingsAssist guests and internal employees on any/all Conference Center technology and basic troubleshootingCoordinate and facilitate issue resolution with Enhanced Deskside Support Technicians when appropriateReceive and respond to customer complaints, comments and enquiries with professionalismCatering and Vendor ManagementSpecial Event CoordinationQualificationsA 4-year college degreeMinimum 2-3 years’ relevant work experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in both verbally and in writingPolished, professional appearance requiredWillingness to take on additional responsibilities with a can-do attitudeAbility to bend, stoop and/or stand for extended periods of timePrevious catering, hospitality or service industry experience preferredCreative problem solver able to think quickly, while remaining calmIntermediate knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel requiredPromote the Brookfield brand through a positive attitude with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
