Overview:
A global manufacturer of agricultural equipment and infrastructure solutions is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to oversee engineering activities across its Structures and Specialty Products portfolio. This role combines people leadership, project management, and product development, with responsibility for both new product development and existing product support. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader who enjoys mentoring engineers, driving accountability, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions.
What You'll Do:
Lead and develop a team of design engineers.
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and technical guidance.
Manage engineering priorities, resource allocation, and project execution.
Oversee new product development and current product maintenance initiatives.
Verify product requirements, cost targets, and project priorities.
Drive accountability to project schedules and deliverables.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, product management, sales, suppliers, and customers.
Improve engineering systems, tools, and automation capabilities.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, processes, and design practices.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll BringDegree in Mechanical, Civil, Agricultural Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.5+ years of technical leadership experience.
Experience leading engineering teams and projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple disciplines.
Experience managing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
