About the role

Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer Lead in Colorado Springs to guide the design, development, and delivery of mission software for NORAD ITW/AA and the NISSC 3 contract. You will lead software teams to meet customer requirements and integrate full‑stack applications, with a focus on containerization. Onsite at the Chidlaw Building and Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, the role balances hands‑on development with strategic leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and upholding DevSecOps
