As a luxury quarterly print publication celebrating influential women in business, leadership, fashion, design, culture, and lifestyle, Leading Ladies Magazine puts those brands in front of that audience, in print, online, and in person. We are expanding our national network of independent sales professionals and are looking for proven closers who already have the relationships to do this work well. This is an independent contractor opportunity for established sellers who run their own business. It is not an entry-level position.

The Opportunity: You will represent a 25,000-copy quarterly print run distributed through luxury commercial venues across our markets, along with event sponsorships for our portfolio of more than a dozen annual signature events. Our media empire is helmed by an award-winning team of media professionals with more than 20 years of experience in publishing and event production. You will bring brands integrated packages that combine the page with the room, which means larger deals, longer partnerships, and larger commissions. How You Will WorkYou set your own schedule, choose your own sales methods, and manage your own business expenses. You may continue representing non-competing clients and publications. Signed contracts and claimed prospects are submitted through our system for billing, fulfillment, and commission tracking. Minimum Performance StandardThe annual revenue standard is $250,000 in print advertising and event sponsorship revenue, measured quarterly at $62,500 per quarter. The first-quarter standard is $40,000, ramping to the full quarterly standard after 90 days. CompensationMonthly retainer of $2,500 plus tiered, uncapped commission on collected revenue: 15% on the first $125,000, 20% up to $250,000, 30% up to $350,000, and 35% on everything above. Compensation is paid on a 1099 basis.

Prospect, pitch, and close print advertising and event sponsorship packages
Build and grow relationships with brand owners, marketing directors, and agency decision-makers
Develop new business within your market
Represent the magazine at client meetings, events, and industry gatherings

A documented track record of personally closing $250,000 or more in annual revenue
An established network among decision-makers in luxury fashion, beauty, jewelry, hospitality, automotive, real estate, design, finance, wellness, travel, fine dining, or premium lifestyle brands
Polished, self-directed, and comfortable owning a number
