Salary: $140,000–$150,000 + BonusAbout the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Extrusion Manager to lead a 24/7 plastics manufacturing operation. This role will oversee production, safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while developing and supporting production supervisors.
Key Responsibilities: Lead extrusion operations across a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Manage and develop production supervisors and employees. Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, waste, downtime, and efficiency. Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis, Lean/5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Maintenance, Quality, R&D, vendors, and plant leadership. Maintain production records, work orders, and department budgets. Build employee engagement and a strong, accountable production culture. Qualifications5–10 years of production leadership experience in plastics process manufacturing. Strong people-management and supervisor-development experience. Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style. Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Blown-film extrusion preferred; cast film, blow molding, or thermoforming experience considered. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or other quality tools preferred. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Proficiency with Excel and Word.
