Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
What You'll Do: Design, solve, and review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance and scientific rigor Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related disciplines to create complex, nuanced problem sets Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning Evaluate the quality, clarity, and scientific depth of AI-generated outputs in your area of expertise Ensure accuracy and intellectual integrity across all deliverables
Who You Are: Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field Strong expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or environmental data analysis Proficient in Python or R for research, data analysis, or modeling Exceptional written communicator - you can explain complex science clearly and precisely Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to scientific problems Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have: Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows Background in quantitative environmental modeling or large-scale ecological datasets Experience writing or reviewing scientific literature or technical documentation Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts as an end user
