About the role
Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician ScheduleDay shift with the possibility of 2nd shift or mixed shifts. No night shift or Blood Bank rotations at this time. Weekend rotations are mandatory.
Job Description:
Join our team as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician in a respected acute care hospital. This role requires you to float between Hematology and Chemistry departments, performing critical laboratory analyses essential for patient care. Your skills in reading gram stains, performing differential counts, and conducting body fluid evaluations are vital in our commitment to quality healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Float between Hematology and Chemistry departments as needed.
Perform and interpret complex laboratory tests and analyses.
Conduct semen analysis and read gram stains and body fluids.
Adhere to patient safety and quality care protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Certification is preferred but not required.
Experience in hematology and chemistry analysis is essential.
