Responsibilities: Perform vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of the bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging passenger counts, and assisting disabled passengers. Responsible for the timeliness of the routes and flexibility of shuttle schedule. Have and maintain an acceptable DMV record. Courteously assist colleagues, visitors, patients, students, and faculty by answering any questions they may have, and offer campus directions for all that may ask. If necessary, direct the inquirer to Parking Leadership. Communicate any issues on campus, such as, suspicious persons, parking machine issues, or any regulatory needs. Assist handicapped individuals by using the lift, or assistance into the vehicles. Be able to assist all regional campuses including LUMC, MacNeal, and Gottlieb. Assist colleagues, visitors, patients, and faculty with any parking needs. Any other duties assigned by the Regional Manager of Parking Services
Shift: 10:45am - 6:15pm Monday - Friday
Position Requirements
Education: Minimum: High School Diploma
Credentials/Licensure: Minimum: Driver's License Preferred: CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement
Related Experience: Minimum: 1-2 years or related experience Preferred: 3-5 years of related experience
Pay Range: $15.40 - $19.28 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
