Resource MFG is looking for a skilled Machinist in Mars, PA
Location: Mars, PA
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual, CNC, and computerized machine shop equipment. Machine a variety of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloys, plastics, and synthetic materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions. Perform shop calculations involving dimensions, speeds, feeds, tooling, and tolerances. Utilize precision measuring equipment to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. Select appropriate cutting tools and machining methods to maximize efficiency and product quality. Set up and operate lathes, mills, jig borers, grinders, punch presses, and power brakes. Fabricate complex parts with compound angles, intricate dimensions, and tight tolerances. Rework, calibrate, and inspect production parts, assemblies, and tooling. Recommend process and design improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Fabricate sheet metal, tubing, and extruded materials using hand tools and machinery.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of machining, tool & die, or related manufacturing experience. Strong understanding of measuring instruments, gauges, and cutting tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routers, and technical drawings. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. #nowhiring  #nowhiring
