Build Your Career with Max Comfort! Max Comfort is seeking a reliable, mechanically minded Service Technician to join our growing team in Morgantown, WV. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, performing quality service, and helping customers maintain comfortable and safe homes. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an excellent customer experience. HVAC or mechanical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities: Diagnose heating and cooling system issues and assist with determining the appropriate solutions. Perform routine maintenance, system inspections, and service checks. Troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs within the scope of training and qualifications. Identify worn or malfunctioning components and communicate recommended service. Explain findings and service options clearly to customers. Maintain accurate service reports and job documentation. Follow company procedures, safety practices, and quality standards. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Represent Max Comfort professionally at customer locations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous HVAC service, mechanical, maintenance, or technical experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
  • HVAC certifications, including EPA Section 608, are a plus.
