Duties
Responsibilities: Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignmentsExperience working with Quality Management System Policies and ProceduresWorking knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and SpecificationsOverall working knowledge of production processesGood communication skills written and verbalGood computing skillsMaintain certifications as requiredFollow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies Verify that tools are qualifiedPrepare and maintain Quality recordsWork across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as requiredQualifications Required: Prompt and on time dailyAbility to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignmentMust be available to work any shift- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operationsAvailable for periods of heavy overtime 5 years' experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspectionBlueprint reading experienceMS Office and SAP experience Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
Preferred: SAP experience737 Airframe/Fuselage ExperienceInspector Testing Information:
  • All inspectors regardless of direct or contract must obtain their stamp within a certain amount of days after their training. That is discussed during the initial training classes. See the written and practical testing information below:
  • Here is a list of the testing QA contractors are required to pass:
  • Assy. Sealing (written and practical)
  • Post Assy. Sealing (written and practical)
  • Electrical Bond and Ground - All Meters (written)
  • Electrical Bond Final Inspection (written and practical)
  • Precision Measuring Tools (written and practical)
  • Skin Quality Inspection (written)
